All modern people ignore some or most of the rules handed down by the various gods. Good thing too... I was raised in a religion (SDA) which is currently thrashing around trying to figure out if women are equal to men (can they ordain women as pastors specifically), should they keep on bashing gays as the Bible tells them to, or grow up and treat all people kindly, and last but not least, are scientists (aside from Medicine, which the church is into big time) in league with the Devil (i.e. Darwin). It is all rather LOL funny to watch...
