"You've said you want all investment in oil and gas to stop immediately" That means no more development, not the shutting in of what we already have. Production will continue from existing wells until they deplete. We're not gonna shut down all coal plants overnight, either. I realize that, even if you don't. Most or all of the people advocating an immediate return to the Stone Age are the carbon pimps trying to mock AGW. Climate hawks would like to see you continue your present lifestyle, but powered with green energy, not fossil carbon.
