Ed,

<<I truly admire your unbelievable optimism for this company. I hope you get a (large) Christmas present soon!>>

<LOL> Thanks. I deserve one! <g>

There is one point that I keep forgetting to make that might explain why I still am optimistic about Ancor's chances. 1997 was supposed to be the year of Fibre Channel, but the fact is, it never really happened. But the foundation was certainly laid in 1997, and virtually all the players have endorsed Fibre Channel now. (With IBM coming on board recently, there are no major players I can think of without some sort of Fibre Channel plans.) In my opinion, that foundation will be built on in 1998, and we should see some explosive growth. I think it is likely that Ancor will benefit from that market explosion NO MATTER HOW THEY RUN THE COMPANY. I do think that it is a bit premature to judge the new management. (Not much premature, but a little bit. <g>)

What is the old saying? A rising tide lifts all boats? Ancor is one of those boats. If The Fibre Channel market explodes next year, Ancor will survive. If management performs, they could be a major player. That's the basis for my optimism.
