I don't trust the "if you like your economy, you can keep your economy" "shovel ready" "Green Jobs" crowd, as far as I can throw them. CO2 is not a pollutant regardless of what the politically correct police or your Dad tells you. CO2 isn't harmful to the environment at anywhere near the current or forecasted levels. Concentrations have been much higher in our atmosphere in the past. In fact higher levels of CO2 in the atmosphere may be beneficial to our planet in many respects. I'm not for throwing the economy of the West in the trash on the disputed assumptions and failed predictions of politically biased scientists and politicians. We should be working on things like using Natural Gas, clean Coal technology and more efficient and cleaner Gasoline and Diesel engines so we can use the resources that God gave us in a wise and prudent manner and become energy self sufficient. That's not to say we shouldn't also be investing in alternative sources of energy, but Governments are notorious for backing the wrong horses in the race. Let markets drive innovation, not socialist hack politicians who hide behind fabricated "science". And take your hand out of my wallet while your at it.
