Its all about economy dimmy. Take the spiritual journey over to your kissing abrahamic cousins in Mecca, there's nothing more obvious about than mirroring what priests originally started in Jerusalem. Religion that was tribal, nationalistic & all economically / territorially / culturally based. They were forced to settle & create a 'territory' , which no one really wanted btw. Islam just mimicked Judaism in this regard because it is all based on nature.

Jerusalem was only a mirrror microcosm of the preist-kings of Egypt. Priests making up faiytales which made it central dogma to worship in only one city, heres the key. And this just flies right over your pointy head. An entire economy is controlled with these mandatory ritual pilgimages & must-do animal sacrificies, they had to create 'scriptures' & rituals to reinforce this.

Did you ever see any great conquerers ever take Jerusalem & want it for themselves or barren worthless Mecca for that matter? No one wanted these cities dimwad, it is always about the economy stupid, for without pilgims you had nothing but sand .

(Mecca will go back to the sand in 150yrs, except for some minor tourism.)

Its an excellent video of a series (700k views) that needs to be watched dozens of times to catch all of it. But one can also just go here, contains everything in that video & even so much more.

"Evolutionary history of life"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolutionary_history_of_life

Origins of life on Earth

Evolutionary tree showing the divergence of modern species from their common ancestor in the center. [43] The three domains are colored, with bacteria blue, archaea green, and eukaryotes red.

Further information: Evidence of common descent, Common descent and Homology (biology)
Biologists reason that all living organisms on Earth must share a single last universal ancestor, because it would be virtually impossible that two or more separate lineages could have independently developed the many complex biochemical mechanisms common to all living organisms. [44] [45] As previously mentioned the earliest organisms for which fossil evidence is available are bacteria. The lack of fossil or geochemical evidence for earlier organisms has left plenty of scope for hypotheses, which fall into two main groups: 1) that life arose spontaneously on Earth or 2) that it was "seeded" from elsewhere in the Universe. [46]
