That was the point no species we currently see are entirely new but it takes usually millions of years with larger mammals, yet you didn't know this? With insects things can happen much faster, then faster still with plants, this always depends on which order of species. Good grief you are completely in numb dumb denial land, you win some prize <bg

quick example:

Hawaii's original people brought the banana tree to their islands about 1,000 years ago. There are now several species of moths that live on the banana trees. They are closely related to other species of fruit-eating moths that were already on the island when the banana trees arrived, and there are no other members of their species where the bananas came from.

connect the dots, make your best guess.

I didn't hear any reply? Why is that? You're trying to make issue with lack of evolutionary change in the last 20 or 70,000yrs is just simple minded & rock bottom stupid. That was the point of what 1000x1000 was trying to convey, this is only 1mil years and only brief for mammalian evolution.

Now if you really want to be honest & pull your head out of that dark stained area where up it dwells, then you smartly admit to seeing even the tern 'Ice Age' is only a generic genral term for cycling temperature reduction.

This last glacial period is only the tiniest fraction of this last 3mil year Paleolithic epoch which we designate to the primate/sapien evolution. You might even attempt to be an honest nimrod and try wrapping your pin-head around that, instead of such imbecile evasion & deflection.

This deeper archaeological/paleontology time frame marked by primate earliest tool use which corresponds with the Pleistocene geological epoch which is approximately the same time duration of 3mil years down to 20,000yrs. Now in this much larger view divided into stages takes in a little larger story narrative that is punctuated with many major weather shifts & geological continental drifts up to 250km or more. Animal & primate migrations, changes to habitat, fluctuation populations in the food chains etc etc.

Did we see species evolution thru this time, yes some, but even 3mil years is still a brief period of time for true macro evolution to take place. As i said, your pretend games are nothing but the stupidest evasive maneuvers, like a dim nimrod pointing at the moon but only stupidly staring like an imbecile at your little finger.

You are whining about 20-70,000 years is rediculously stupid, but as Tigerpaw gave examples there are many indications of change & modification to species even in this briefest timeframe.
