This is not Obama's forte. Unfortunately Putin is powerful, supported, ambitious, and capable of any level of thuggery to get his way. Where as, Obama is seen as a weak world leader who will shrug and flinch in the face of serious adversity. It is not a good match up and Putin knows he has at least 2 years to accomplish his primary objectives.

Russia is simply returning to its Soviet Union glory. Putin is threatening pretty much everyone at this point.

Yes, indeed. The sooner he does, the sooner Putin can announce new Russian submarine bases in Cuba and Venezuela. Let's just cut to the chase. We need to be reminded that the Monroe Doctrine is sooooo 19th Century.


I love it when a plan comes together. Putin just made the last move I gave him. He's on his own from now on.
