That's not what I meant to imply. The CEO was quite humble about it. He was suggesting that whoever has the best technology will win, not who is biggest.

I gathered that he thought that his company had the best technology. Confidence rather than arrogance I think.

I have a question, Tim, to you or anyone else out there knowledgable about Cienna. I'm a current shareholder of Osicom Technologies and noticed that the Gigamux short-haul DWDM product was announced over here by David in message 1036. It seems that this product has a lead on Cienna's short-haul products by at least 6 months, right? My question is why doesn't ciena fork over the money to pay for all of Osicom right now and just sell the Gigamux product themselves? It seems that the Gigamux is a much more marketable product than Ciena's Metro product. Why doesn't Ciena just buy the whole company and grab a strong product in the short-haul market while eliminating the competition!
