Any look at supply and demand has to take into account that we have an actual surplus of oil right here in the good old U.S. of A. Commodities, like stock prices, are manipulated by fear and greed and a lot of other factors.

I'm not saying you are wrong. In the long run you will be proven right but oil is obviously trading below $80 now. In fact it's trading lower than it has since the great recession:



Never say never. Oil will trade where it trades.
