There are a couple of types of trading like that, Alexa,

One is called scalping,,, when you have a certain degree of assurance a stock is going a certain way... you pick off the bounce before the move with an option set for the likely max. It is kind of like an ambush. Then you ride the stock for a short-term move and hop off...

I coulda done that yesterday for a tripler in about 4 hours trading time... but I ain't that good - yet.
