Anaxagoras, stick with it. What's the worst that can happen? Another 9 15/16 drop? We've already seen 30. I feel the stock has VERY strong support at 0 and we're approaching that now.

After a very conservative review of the numbers I really think the worst we could possibly see is .12 a share this qtr. Based on the way things are going, I have re-evaluated my position based on those earnings (even though I hope they'll be higher). Even at that low estimate, this stock is a steal. The P/E will that of a company with no growth. Is everyone out there really projecting that Viagra will wipe Vivus out? Everytime I say it I'm proven wrong, but, I really don't see how we can continue down for much longer (if only because my support level at 0 is nearly upon us).

It's not like this is Zona and we're burning cash. We've got a saleable product that is turning a tidy profit for us yet we're being outdone by unapproved drugs the efficacy of which is still an unknown. Did we just lose the patent dispute with HVSF or what? How else can we be at these levels?

Oh how I long for an open candlestick on the chart.

Good luck everyone (except the shorts - they've had their fun),

Gary

Anaxagoras--

>Either it's warranted, and the company is one of the great scams of the year with blatant fraud<

In what way would there be fraud? I know with Bre-X, there was never any gold, and likewise so with other firms. However, with Vivus, we have a drug that physicians are prescribing and it works. Where would the element of fraud come in to play? I'd like to know if there is a chance I just placed myself into another disaster by averaging way down in the $9+ level. I just can't see much downside unless another magic drug comes out that replaces VVUS.

Anaxagoras,

I have that kicked in the tummy feeling whenever I look at my portfolio prices lately. Scary. But, as Zebra says, that's good. Bullish. Next month I hope this will all be behind us.

Anaxagoras, the you comment was meant to mean all who sold today. Not meant for you specifically. Sorry if you misinterpreted it. Vivus up from here.
