koan is a true bleeding heart lib. I'm an overcrowded lifeboat lib. There are something like 140M kids under 20 in Latin America, just waiting for a chance to walk across the border. There are a lot more who will be willing to float from Africa to SA, in an attempt to join them. We can't take everybody. Apparently, koan hasn't live in an area flooded with illegal immigrants. If he had, he would know that its not good for this country. It creates a sub economy of low wages in which American citizens can't compete. Whole neighborhoods are taken over where 10 immigrants will live in a 1 bedroom apt, putting huge pressure on the neighborhood infrastructure and neighborhood services. All to often the immigrants will get short changed in terms of pay and screwed over in any number of ways. Koan's bleeding is misplaced.
