BC, the two "studies" you posted are flawed. One of the studies skews costs and does the classic apples-vs-oranges comparison (namely Germany vs. UK), while the other study has nothing substantial in it and is just pure FUD.

The statistics vary by study, but solar almost consistently tops the cost estimate charts. Wind does better, but it's problem is that it's an inconsistent source of power.
