If you have smart TVs, you will not need a Roku device.

Unless the TV has built in wifi, you will need to connect a cable from the router to each TV. If you have Ethernet wiring already in the house, you can use that to patch into the router and into the TV.

As mentioned in a previous post, if you want to see the pictures or videos stored on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer, you can use a device like the Chromecast to make that happen. I'm not familiar with Apple TV but if you have an all Apple environment, then I would suggest looking into this option.

One last issue could be how strong is the signal from your wireless router? If you are getting a strong reading in every room, no need to worry. If you have a large home, some routers won't reach into all areas of the house. You can get wifi extenders or a stronger router to overcome an issue like this. If you are direct connecting via Ethernet cables, then you don't to be concerned with the strength of the wifi signal.
