I'd find it odd if they went for 22nm IBM tech via GF. IIRC, they are skipping the existing GF 20nm process, so I don't think they would try a different 22nm planar process. I think they are sticking with their stated schedule of 14nm FinFET in 2016, which will likely put them 1 year behind Samsung's earliest products. Too bad they weren't prepared...
