Bingo! Methinks a lot of things have changed since there is no draft.. Of course the draft had lots of loop holes. There was the Mitt option, the Cheney option, and the Bush Air National Guard-Yo Daddy option. But now, we just let 'those people' go fight our wars. Actually for a lot of kids, the Air Force is not a bad way to go. Do your time and go to college on the G.I. bill. Two nephews who are running up huge college debt refuse to even consider it. They probably consider it beneath them.
