Kevin...yes, I'm quite aware of the short interest. I specifically addressed that issue when I talked with the BIG shareholders of CCSI...the only comment was, well, that's what makes a market, they're probably looking at the run-up in price over the past several months without much news... Pull up a chair and be real quiet and don't pass this on, ok? Normally what you say is correct, e.g. with a small float and a significant short interest, there's going to be a short squeeze when good news comes out...but ya know what? It doesn't make any difference...the news is going to be so good that we don't need the shorts except to laugh at their stupidity. Sorta like Tom's comment over at DTO (a paid daytrading service) who said a bit ago that he "just couldn't see a story to CCSI"...LOL. The problem is that folks hear so much anymore, they don't know what to believe. So when they hear comments from CCSI's CEO, they sorta take all the forward looking news with a grain of salt. When she says there's major interest in their technology, some folks are saying, sure, yea, maybe from some little company on the east side of the river in Des Moines, Iowa, and then maybe years down the road. Those are the same folks who right now think that CCSI is probably struggling to recruit a sales force to knock on doctor doors to sell their recently approved fda approved application for testing of infants. They are the same folks who are spinning their wheels trying to count how many infants might be tested in order to figure out the value of CCSI's stock. Boy, are they missing the boat...ok, the wharf. I'll give you a hint that the recent retention of Fred Franks at Lehman's wasn't done to help them draft classified ads for the Des Moines Register to hire salesman to knock on the doors of the hospitals of the world. I agree that you have to take the statements of company officers with a grain of salt. In this particular instance, however, take them at their word. In the meantime, play with the market makers on CCSI and have some fun as I've been doing...the shorts will be icing on our retirement cake...and the party is just around the corner... :)
