The Tea Party 23 hrs · Mount Rushmore and the Emancipation Indignation of Amnesty What’s the textbook definition of “detached” from reality? Georgia Democrat Hank Johnson recently told the media that Executive Amnesty will someday be viewed in the same historical context and lauded with equal adulation as the Emancipation Proclamation. Excuse me? How does pardoning millions of trespassers, those who defiantly broke the law, equate to freeing millions who were brought here as cargo and left to languish and die under the vile auspices of slavery? How utterly myopic, insulting, and yes, detached from any sense of reality or decency! Is it therefore of any surprise this same cultist proclaimed that Barack Obama‘s face should be etched on Mount Rushmore for all of eternity? Come again? So a President - sporting a 39% approval rating - who has routinely defiled the Constitution with smug contempt, repeatedly lied to the people to pass corrupt legislation, openly waged race and class warfare for political gain, solicited and transported unvetted illegal immigrants all across America, financed and abetted the rise of radical Islam, whose policies watched welfare payrolls double to nearly 50 million while workforce participation has plummeted to an anemic 62.8%, and who fostered a preposterous 7.5 trillion in record debt in a mere 6 years, deserves to be recognized and immortalized as one of America’s greatest and most transcendent leaders? Oh, mon frere, I beg to differ! There’s a sanctimonious place for those lost souls who shamelessly conspire to defraud the American people and systematically subvert our founding ideals. If our military officers are being purged solely for their patriotic, Christian and conservative beliefs – those impregnable bastions of our forefathers’ timeless creed – then what is the punishment for plotting with fellow party members and operating with reckless impunity to undermine the very populace, rule of law, and sovereign nation you swore to serve and protect? Not only is the mere mention of your name incestuously nauseating and an indelible blight to the already troubled legacies of Andrew Johnson, William Taft, and Richard Nixon, but your flagrant disregard for America in lieu of a failed and radical ideology is worthy of but one circuitous fate; an eight digit number, a bible and an orange jumpsuit. To subjugate is by no means to serve and “We the People” were conceived in the liberty of God’s light!
