Yikes! Sub-$3 today, but rallied for 1/8. Anyway, did anyone else see the article in Thursday's (Dec. 18) WSJ (B1)? Paxson Communications really does seem to be relying on NM (and Guthy-Renker) for a large piece of their upcoming PaxNet network. I don't think it's in Paxson's plans, or necessarily their interests, to buy NM, but it could help NM get the credibility and visibility they need to complete a successful merger. It looks like PaxNet wants to use Mike Levey and NM's other shows and products for much of their content. PaxNet seems a bit shakey, but Paxson has demonstrated before that he knows the business (Home Shopping Network). Could be interesting. Any other takes? --John
