Any kid knows that Darwin specialized with animal species micro & macro variation, natural selection what happened to you? Evolutionary theory as a life science would have direct bearing on the advent of Anthropology. That is what we use here for that cultural analysis of tribal mythologies & structure, which draws upon knowledge from the social sciences, life sciences, as well as the humanities. Science itself still has branches growing out like a tree since Darwin's time, isn't that continued emergence grand? If you want less materialism, teach your children the love of science, works everytime dimmy, most educated Christians even agree.

Darwin's evolutionary ideas do have implications in Anthropology, each branch of science acts as a field of vison, a lens of specialization & they overlap. Climate, geology will effect migrations & human populations, that inturn would bring into play some evolutionary changes. So will attachments to certain crops or animals for subsistence with their dependency on agriculture vs hunting varies. You seem to miss the fact that circumcison is nothing spectacular or novel just to the Hebrew, you are such a dim bulb.
