I was just going over my annual meeting notes, and here is what was projected for 1998:

* Sales in '98 double sales in '97.

* Profits 50% higher.

* Sale of first X-ray source.

* Large increase in laser system sales.

* Several strategic joint ventures.

* Significant improvement in share price.

* Minority equity carve-outs - of at least one JMAR division - before
the end of '98. This was explained as a sale of part of one division (such as CATS). For example, the company could sell 75% of CATS and keep the other 25%, or sell 20% and keep 80% -- (the numbers are just my figures, not actual amounts). The idea is that the company would still own a percentage of the division sold, and would still benefit from owning that business. In the case of CATS, keeping part of the business would allow them to use the facility for their own chip design and testing, as well as production. In that way, they could test chips produced by their own point source XRL without having to go to an outside company, thus not revealing some trade secrets.

I would expect that it will take attendees at the Equities conference a few days to "digest" what was presented by JMAR, and then we might see more interest in the stock. Candlestick, thanks for your notes on the Equities Conference.
