Netscape, @Home up partnership news.com

"Take that, Microsoft."

Netscape (NSCP) said today it expanded its relationship with the @Home Network to include e-commerce solutions for business customers. The announcement comes less than two weeks after Microsoft said it teamed up with @Home to provide a customized browser, cutting into Netscape's territory. Until then, only a Netscape browser was being used with @Home.

Don't ask me if this means anything. TCI was supposed to have laid fiber around here 2 years ago or something, but there hasn't been a peep about @home that I remember. My brother in the Boston area got a cable modem, guess he likes it ok but he and I don't talk computers much, he's a mac head and thinks I'm a traitor for buying PC hardware. So it goes.

Cheers, Dan.
