Nobody is buying puts because us bears have been cowed with the recent run-up. It is much easier to be a bear when the price is falling.

So is a high short interest -- but instead we're near the all-time high!
On Barb's comment, the p/c ratio for Dec 55's as of yesterday was 0.62.
