Locogringo, this is another left-wing meme being pushed by all the Obama ass-kissers out there. "Well it's OK that Obama is giving amnesty to illegal immigrants. After all, Reagan and Bush did the same thing." First of all, the executive order nonsense is easily fact-checked. Secondly, Reagan did indeed sign the bill for amnesty. But the idea was that this was a one-time thing, and that measures would be put in place to control the number of illegal immigrants coming in the future. Which of course turned out to be useless. This is why people don't like amnesty, because it's been tried before. Notice how the Democrats hardly ever mention the word "amnesty," preferring instead to use the euphemism "immigration reform." Because who can deny that the current immigration system is broken? Even the polls that the media uses to show support for "immigration reform" don't exactly mention how people want it to be reformed. They just say, "A vast majority of Americans want immigration reform," and the Democrats take that as a mandate to push for amnesty. Tenchusatsu
