These observations point to the fact that Hellenism did not tend to infiltrate and 'corrupt' the local religious traditions of the ancient world. Rather, people maintained their religious traditions in spite of Hellenistic influence in other areas of their lives.

Not corrupted as in Alexander sparing all their lives in the first place? Had Alexander chosen just to wipe them all out like Moses & Joshua's murderous rampages, there wouldn't have been much left to corrupt.

Some have noted similarities between certain Greek systems of ethics and New Testament teachings on morality

Now that is an understament, lets really undertsate that one really really bigtime! <bg

While one can identify certain common features, such as literary styles and basic moral codes, there are prominent differences in the motivation ,Christians are motivated by regard for God and His call to holiness; the Greeks by self-evident 'reason'.

More bullshit, everyone has the same sense of the infinite, good grief, Greeks widened the scope of thinking for the Hebrews in manifold ways simply to the powers of ten. Philosophically the impact of Platonism cannot even be measured as it blended into a culture that had country prophets & messiahs growing out of the sand like weeds.

We find this all throughout the Sinai, Egypt, Turkey , Persia & Arabian penninsula down to Muhammads time
prophets & magicians were everywhere.

and means for living a moral life Christians are empowered by the Holy Spirit; Greeks rely upon their own innate wisdom and ability. Finally, unlike the Greek philosophical view, the hope of heaven provides the foundation for Christians to persevere under moral pressure.

The hope of heaven? Now that certainly is new age, how could anyone resist?

But which also becomes the one major specialty of another desert prophet from the region called Muhammad as later we see, another thesis ripening into fullness. God(s) & tribalism, this has been going on for 50,000yrs probably.

But really not more motivated than the Hellenes who left their mark of influence on just about everything & everywhere from Rome to India, Egypt to Turkey to Palestine & Tehran Then down thru history that same passion for thought & reason influences & energizes 12th century Islam & Judaism again & the later Church itself in Rome.

And the Rennaisance, lets not forget that birth.
