Ted,
In grad school, I wrote a paper that was in direct conflict with a book my prof was writing......I didn't know about the book. He gave me a C and my only B in grad school. Later when I defended my paper in class, he threw me out of class along with a friend who gave me support. Ten years later, my prediction in the paper was proven right and the prof wrong. So I know professors very well and I don't like Turley.
Wow, that sucks.

Just curious, what was the gist of your paper, and what was your professor arguing that conflicted with what you wrote?

You don't have to tell me if it reveals too much about your identity or that of the professor.
