Cader, I appreciate the message. Understand that I too respect the efforts that Chris is showing and feel that he can bring a tremendous amount to the table for the thread. My comments wernt to the following: 1. That for Chris, he becareful that he doesn't get into trouble uknowingly. Most traders aren't 'compliance' people and are more concerned with moment to moment trading that whether posting on the internet is considered advertising, sales lit, etc. and therefore must be filed with the sales principal. If so, he would have some trouble. As a principal, I am simply offer some cautionary advice. I, as well as the rest of us, would hate to see him get in trouble for being so forthcoming with his knowledge. Here, I am only trying to give him a word of advice from a sales principal who would immediately suspend any trader of mine that I found posting anywhere, saying anything under an alias. 2. This applies to all internet resources as well as any buy lists, newsletters, barrons, anything really.....Noone should be taken 100% on their face value. As much as I feel that I am always 100% honest and sincere, I still caution everyone to speculatively view anyone's post. Most people here don't put their names, phone numbers and addresses behind what they have to say. You might not think it means much. From my standpoint, when I give my name@yamner.com and a phone number and completely disclose what I do, how I do it, etc., it means that if I am fraudulent, manipulative, etc., I lose my liscense, my business. You can be damn sure I wouldnt do anything that jeopordizes this. This is one of the reason I will almost never talk stocks specifically or mention options or be too suggestive in ideas, strategies, etc. When everyone is talking about 'they did this, they did, they trade this way, etc....', beleive me, I do much of it myself, but I just don't think without proper disclosure and adjustments to specific investors that I could do so prudently on these threads.. Call me pessimistic...but it comes from seeing upgrades in stocks at the top and downgrades near the bottom.. To date, which is only a few days by his own accord, Chris has been nothing but 100% honest and revealing. Nonetheless, the concerns about using an alias and the recent flurry of activity do leave questions regarding motivation. Chris, if you are reading this, please don't take it personally. I, as well as many others, greatly appreciate your effort here. I can understand your desire to maintain an alias, as you would surely have a problem with your compliance department with thread readers checking up on you. Nonetheless, this is the downside of having an alias. t. A good tradeoff since everyone is impressed with your efforts. Regards, Steve@yamner.com
