The CEI has received a whopping $2,005,000 from ExxonMobil since 1998.
Speaking of propaganda it may or may not be true about the 2 million, but it should be noted that ExxonMobil stopped funding CEI (and other so-called denialist groups) in 2005.

I don't think I have been able to fathom his motives.
Perhaps it's part of one of those "work at home" schemes which I see advertised but never click.
