Rice was so obviously lying you cannot get away from it. In fact, just the fact that SHE was the person they sent out was odd in itself. That morning, as I watched those shows, I was totally baffled that they sent her out. She had no reason to be involved at all, and her appearing in that context was an evident anomaly. But it is duly noted that you have accepted it was an "intelligence failure" which would be different from a "lie". Seems your views change depending on the party under attack.
