"we were talking about supposed AGW which transcends borders" Exactly! It also has nothing to do with being on a "Chicken Little, Crazy train" belonging to somebody named Obama. Climate change has been a topic of discussion and concern since long before Obama was born. The United States (and Canada) have been dragged kicking and screaming to the board table to be asked to acknowledge a rational world effort to set policy that acknowledges scientific input. If there is a "crazy train", then that train belongs to all decent people everywhere--not to Obama. There was a time when hazardous materials were not regulated. This resulted in huge disasters and loss of life. Now when people move dangerous goods from warehouse to warehouse or store--they move those goods in a safer way. This is what responsibility and accountability is all about. It begins with acknowledging that we have an impact on reality and that we are not helpless (neither guiltless) before Nature.
