No, it's not. I posted a journal reference on this. And I didn't get the info from a "creationist website" or any website.

At any rate, the issue has already been debunked. The answer is in the rather non-specific way that certain bacteria eat nylon. They don't just munch on the polymer, they exude an enzyme that breaks down all sorts of polymers into more edible bits. They munch on the organic remains. Those bacteria have been eating that way for a long time. The enzyme isn't specific to nylon, it breaks down a wide range of complex organic molecules.

Sorry, but that is just another just-so story.
