My theory? That there was no probable cause. That the officer acted unwisely but not criminally. That Brown was playing out some thug script- and forgot he was mortal, as teens tend to do. That the stupidity and violence of one black young man, and the unwise choice and violent action of a white officer, does not really represent, with any clarity, racial problems in this country. I could see the same thing happening with a white officer, or a black offer, and a white perpetrator. You grab for an officers gun, you can pretty much expect your death to be once of the options coming out of that.
