Yes- it IS about his character, because that goes to the reasonableness of one's fear of him. If a small, law abiding granny was shot by a policeman- there's little to justify a violent response. If, on the other hand, a very large man, who has just committed a crime, attacks a policeman in his car, and is then shot in an altercation- the reasonableness of the officers actions are seen in a somewhat different light than they would be when he is dealing with granny.

Now why don't you think on that? And then, after you've had a good long think, get back to someone else. Because as I have said before, you are never going to convince me of anything but your inability to approach this matter logically. And you've already done a fine job there. So, let's say you keep thinking that I'm a racist who doesn't understand anything, and I'll keep thinking what I'm thinking.
