Tonights game is a sell out. No name change. Brooklyn is very loose, free spirited, liberal and extremely ethnic. Nassau County is tight, modestly conservative, somewhat snobby and all about appearances.
The Long Island Sound goes into Queens and Brooklyn. But so does the Atlantic Ocean. We have very little in common with Long Islanders.
Isles looked a little flat in the second half of the period.
We despise Ovechkin who scored a first period power play goal. All my friends and family live in NYC or Israel. None would ever live in Long Island.

PS Isles better play better or they will lose this game. Up 2-1after 1.

Long Island kids tend to be wimpy. If they are not wimpy, they are usually loud and uncouth, the spoiled bratty types. Some of them try to play tough guy, not realizing, of course, that a real tough guy acts soft and mellow till the ocassion presents itself. Once in a while they venture into the City and end up getting their arse kicked. I've seen that a lot. NYC people, on the other hand, are nice, intense, always on the move, and fair. G-d forbid if you show your hand as a Di&k, it's all over for you.
