Mike:
Its not only today's price action, but ever since the announcement of the merger with AMTX, this stock has truly been the stock from hell. Yesterday Orckit gained a dollar, Aware was up over 10%, and WSTL went lower. As someone on this thread recently said, something seems terribly wrong. Damned if I know what it could be. The company has 14 million that it didn't have prior to the AMTX thing. It has the LU joint marketing announcement, and ADSL has had a lot of good press lately, except for that fool Metcalf.
I'm just sitting here trying to figure out why WSTL has dropped from the 23/share level not so long ago to today's 13 and 1/8. Could it be due to Seaman's illness? Could the lack of the realization of the mysterious 3 signed, but unannounced contracts, be at the root of the problem? Is the credibility of the company really that bad? I'm befuddled.
I wonder how the clown brokerage houses feel that gave WSTL such a strong buy rating when it was in the lower 20's about 2 months ago. Guess its about time they lowered their ratings-that would be consistent with their usual accuracies.
Does anybody know if WSTL hired a lot of people recently?? I know there was quite a blitz of employment adds in the newspapers and radio in the Chicago area about a month ago. Surely the company wouldn't be hiring if prospects are not good, would they? The management couln't be that stupid, right?

michael--

oh come on! low volume and a range of a 1 3/8. looks like more market maker crap to me. now, i would agree with you that from a manipulation standpoint it is bearish. but, it isnt indicative of the long range future, IMHO.

good luck to all,
trey
