It seems to me that there are just too many reasons for this stock to go up and not a whole lot of reasons for it to go down from here. This may be a primitive analysis but taking a look at revenue and eps comparisons for the year ending 94 vs. the current period we can see the following.

REVENUES (Thousands of U.S. Dollars)

QUARTERS 1994 1995 1996 1997

NOV 75,656 134,329 438,578 421,018
FEB 96,729 190,225 456,619 510,274
MAY 106,249 271,477 412,322 511,394
AUG 134,304 403,968 457,401 513,097

TOTAL 412,938 999,999 1,764,920 1,955,783

Please note that total revenues for the quarter ending August 1994 were app. 412 K v. just under 2 MILLION for the quarter ending Aug. 97. I agree this quarter puts a damper on the way this year starts, but come on, the stock price was 9 dollars back in 1994 when the co. only had 412K in revenue!!! Please someone give me a good arguement as to why this company isn't either going up on its own or in the serious running to be taken over!! I am loading the boat on this baby tomorrow...look how many times this stock has gone from 9 to 24 and back again in the last 3 years!!!
Good luck to all.

Timothy, << flat panel tv's >>

Flat panel displays have 2 problems as I understand it. Correct me
if wrong. 1) Viewing angle is not wide unless the photoelectro-
luminescence approach is used. I believe the above terminology is
correct, but I can verify it if necessary. 2) The problem with the
above solution is that RGB can not produce blue luminescence with
this technology. Blue is makeshift.
A little known venture capitalist company in Canada called Westaim
has claimed to developed an inexpensive blue photoelectroluminescence
process. It's my understanding this could be a solution to tv's
flat panel future. Any flat panel Gurus out there with comments? I'm
about primed to double up on MUEI if I can sort this flat panel thing
out soon enough.
