Tom, I basically agree with you this is not an environment to aggressively going long, esp for investment. That is why my friend only intends to daytrade techs and watch his indicators closely. He intends to short CPQ at 59-60, fwiw. No, I dont think tech sector will fall out as much as gold - gold has lost its place in both economy system (inflation) and monetary system. The new high and new low both again are at big numbers. For this rally to continue, new low needs to shrink - it still stays at near 90.
