Don, The world has to eat and they have to drink. I think that POT (Potash) and USF (US filter) are good demographic buys

Buffett uses arbitrage situations and special situations to gain increased returns on his cash awaiting re-investment. It appears he used a lot of this cash to buy 10 year zeroes back in July - a genius move in retrospect. It also means he is not finding many long-term stock situations in the current market. I too am currently holding a lot of cash, awaiting further declines in the market as Asia impacts the earnings of many techs, commodities, and multinationals over the next 2-3 quarters. Mike
