Jurgis, thank you for the kind words and sharing your ideas. I found your portfolio updates very valuable, as well as the input on other folks investment ideas. I have not been active mostly because of a relocation and AlI am in the process of buying a house no selling another. I did move to the east cost after all or the way my family states it - half way back to Germany.

EDIT: I posted this before seeing Spekulatius' message. Anyway, I'm not gonna edit the below, since most of the questions and thoughts stand. :)

What do you think about the oil patch? Too early?

My current holdings are in DRAGF, SPND, NOV, PGN (ouch), CVX. Bought a tiny bit of APA and GTE. All in total ~7% of my portfolio.

Out of these, PGN is the only one which can go BK in this downturn.

CVX, XOM are not cheap yet. I don't like APC that you recommended.

MHR - oh wow, talk about levered... I was thinking about MHR prefs, but I think I won't touch them.
