re: WDC June 97 drives

It's now obvious (to me anyway) that WDC had been delaying their bitter medicine by stocking inventory. I've made a few posts about this in the recent past. Again, let me reiterate, the class-action suit has merit.

p.s. Any sightings of those mythical $250 Maxtor 6.4s?

1.4 GiG for $149?!?! Gee, I guess that place is really ripping you off<g>. Matter of fact, I have a computer resell business in NY, and I work with one of WD's distributor, and I don't see any 1.4 Gig. And are you sure that they are dated June 97 or were they refurbished at June 97? Please let me know more info on that, I will be very very rich if I can sell those 1.4 gig at 149. Hey, if you want I break you a deal, I sell you the 2 gig for the same price, okay? =>
