But think about why there were so many witnesses who swore that Michael Brown was shot in the back and/or shot with his hands held up in surrender. They've been taught to hate the cops. They've been taught that cops are nothing but a bunch of white power-hungry racists who would not hesitate to pull over a young innocent black man just for the heck of it. They've been taught that white cops will shoot black men in cold blood, just like the KKK did back in the day. Hence when they find out that another black man was shot by a white cop, they will start to "remember" false details that fit their prejudice. And yes, I call it prejudice because there is no other way to describe how they feel. The details of such a horrible tragedy will get filtered through their mental prejudices until a narrative emerges that fits their viewpoint. As for their prejudice against white cops, you'll hear the left excusing it because a lot of the black community's suspicions about white cops are founded on truth. Yes, you do see white cops being more suspicious of young black men, and yes, that is a problem to the other blacks who are not hardened thugs. But the truth is that black males commit a disproportionate amount of violent crimes in this country, and law enforcement officers cannot ignore that sad truth no matter how much the left wants them to. We can reverse that by sticking to traditional values, like raising black kids the right way, having fathers and other positive role-models around, denouncing the "thugs and drugs" culture, and emphasizing the value of a good education. The alternative is to maintain the status quo by exploiting the same old fears and excuses that has been used for decades. Both the left and the right are guilty of this. The right's guilt is obvious, namely that they feel this is "their problem, not mine," which does little to entice black people into the conservative fold. But the left's guilt is much more esoteric and insidious in that their sins are hidden behind a veneer of intellectualism. (Just look at CJ, for instance.) Tenchusatsu
