Nassau Colliseum is a very cheesy collegiate atmosphere where the Ice girls skate around before the game with Islander banners and after the game celebrating a victory with Sparky the Isles mascot. There is hardly a game against Pittsburgh, Philly, Devils or the Rags, where the Isles fans don't run out a couple of opposing team fans. Chants of Assho&e are typically directed toward a few belligerent opposing team fans and security escorts them out of the arena before a riot results. It's real funny, but we don't participate in that. But we are usually in the middle where that kind of thing starts. For instance, a visiting team fan who stands up too long or gets out of his seat too much, gets the assho7e chant. And beware if a vising team fan talks back or gets snotty. Montreal fans are very careful not to offend and tend to buy the most expensive seats where that doesn't happen. google.com
