Talking about Boston, I have held off buying tickets to the February 7 Isles/Bruins game at TD Garden because I thought prices might drop from $105 at the beginning of the season. I looked again today and saw prices rise to $120 a ticket (cheapest seat). Mind you, I have hotel and flight booked for two. The Isle/Buffalo game (Dec. 27th in Buffalo) I bought tickets at beginning of season for $63 a ticket on Stub Hub. Now I can get same seats for $30 a ticket. So, I'm not doing very well from a hockey timing point of view. -ng-
I'll be in Montreal Jan.17th for Isles/Canadians. But those tickets aren't costing me anything. My brother and his wife told us it's on the house. But my brother begged me not to trash the Canadians on the drive up. His wife is unfortunately a big Canadian fan and she has thrown things at me when I attack Montreal. -g/ng-
