<<>> I'm laughing because asking me to suggest sources for ADSL is like asking the Pope if he's Catholic. Yep. I've been researching it since November '95 and have an archives that's as eclectic as it is admirable. Okay, the best place to start is the ADSL Forum: www.adsl.com Other basic sources: Alcatel's DMT white paper: www.alcatel.com/broadband/whitep Motorola's CopperGold page: www.mot.com/SPS/MCTG/MDAD/adsl ADI's DMT paper: www.analog.com.search97cgi/s97_cgi Microsoft white paper: 12,772 bytes, updated 11/7/97 10:06:37 PM GMT, microsoft.com Excerpt from this page: Industry Solution Providers. Microsoft Home. Products. Search. Support. Shop. Write Us. To Home Page. Select an Industry. To the Industry Solutions Home Page. Highlights. Hot Topics. Partners & Solutions. White Papers. Case Studies. Solutions Directory. An Interoperable End-to-End Broadband Service Arch ... There are more industry articles that you'd care to read. Amati has a link to some of the year's highlight if you're interested: www.amati.com Of course, there's the SI Amati Investors' thread which now has 30,000 posts. You've got to be a masochist to go down that path. :) BTW, John Cioffi, Amati's CTO, and the designer/developer of their DMT/ADSL, worked at Bell Labs many years ago and that's where the early development in ADSL was done. He's a professor at Stanford and works at Amati part time. With the TI buyout, it's still unclear what he'll do. His contract is still being negotiated. Hope this helps. Any questions you have, shoot them my way and if I can't answer them, I'll find someone who can. Later --- Pat
