Curious how the M. Fools played out the COMS story when it tanked. Since it is in their portfolio I bet they downplayed it and said nothing about secret meetings with analysts. I think they don't realize that they can move stocks up and down, and they should be careful to not make a commentary out of the news. They should write a story as if they owned the shares themselves which they obviously didn't. Greenberg in the San Francisco chronicle is probably worse, he does this on a daily basis. It's no doubt he will write up slanted news stories on a stock of mine only to find out later he never really broke a story, just caused temporary panic. I used to sell on this stuff and learned from my mistakes. They then go back up once the news clears, and you realize that these guys know very little. Seems to me like a bunch of big egos out there.
