To all, I am wondering EFII whether is facing competion from small machine like color laser printer's competion. In the old days. If you want get color copies then you have to go Kinko to make copies or photo shops. But the business trend is that toward to do things at home or office. And new technology will try to develop lower end color laser printer for those OEMS in Japan. So the EFII's competion is not for other OEM's problems but the machine transaction to the small machines like color laser printers. So EFII's new strategy should focus on lower end user's needs. I have seen a lot of graphics design shops closed down because they don't have enough business to cover their expense. A lot of graphics designers just purchase a color laser printer at work or home So that they don't to pay $20,000-$40,000 for copiers and EFII's systems. In the case, ADBE will be the winner because each printer will have post script in it.

I am not saying all big systems will go away overnight. But the trend will toward to small color laser printer with good quality(actually quality will be better than color copier but slower speed). But if color laser printer is affordable then small graphics designer does not need to order color copiers from shops which will run fast copies but to install a color laser printer at office will save travel time to shop and get better quality with money saving with efficient product control. I believe those OEMS will start to focus on developing color laser printers and this may create another business run for Canon, Minolta or Ricoh but not for EFII though.

I try to talked to engineers when I went to pick up Investor's package yesterday. But I got response that no disclosure will be made to the public unless I talked to IRs. I left message with IR today and have not received call back yet.

All of above is just my personal opinion. Any comments are welcme.
