Paul V,

Sorry for breaking in. I have a feeling that you are absolutely correct in your assessment that the institutions are not waiting around anymore especially with these depleted prices. That is 22 more funds from last week owning this stock and increasing as we speak. Yesterday I hunted around for 100k and over block trades but the biggies are pretty good and masking them in low 50k to 25k trades.

Don't they know that we know what they know?

IMHO the breakout may be earlier than January, which should make Lester E get his B-day wish!!!

SM

Paul V, if you see inconsistencies, like the number of Funds buying AMAT increasing yet the stock's price is decreasing---something is brewing getting ready to erupt...One day in Aug of last year when the stock was at 23 (it bottomed the previous month at 22 3/4) I was puzzled why Analysts upon Analysts appeared on TV urging investors to avoid AMAT because "...the stock is Good but it's not time to buy yet...wait 6, 9 months for the company to get orders again...there are other companies good to invest right now...etc, etc..."---yet blocks of 25, 50, 100K Buy trades are running accross the tape underneath their images on TV!...I thought:---if they really think the stock is Good, why wait 6 months, why not buy it now? My contradicting nature served me well that day---when I converted all the stocks I got to LEAPs positioning myself with an Ultra Bullish stance!...Today, despite downgrades, the stock went Up...Let's wait and see for more...I wonder if all the Analysts have their share of downgrades already...
