It looks like the Republicans are ready to openly embrace racism to save their electoral hide like they openly embraced evangelicals in the wake of Watergate. Is that when the religious right took over? Interesting. It makes sense though.........but bet it won't be that easy for Rs to embrace their inner racism. Back in the '70s, there were a lot more whites religious or otherwise. Now......not so much. BTW did you see that the TN congressman's communication director who called Malia and Sasha a couple of bar 'hos has resigned. I'd like to think that Rs have some limits.
