VBH, I followed the history of the NASDAQ small cap regulations, and if the micro cap is similar, it will go something like this:

1. NASDR, and others, propose rule change to SEC;
2. SEC presents the rule change for comment, I believe 90 days;
3. Six months after 90 day period, if adopted, the proposed rule goes into affect (as was the case with small caps, retroactively)

I have seen no record of grandfather clauses, and I highly doubt that would apply with micro caps either.

I will continue to provide in depth study to SI on this subject, including the funtion of clearing stock trades.

I don't know the time frames for requiring cos to report. I've heard February, then a six month phase in. I just don't know .

I'm not aware of any grandfathering though.
