He mentioned a few "renewables". "Especially solar" presumably means more than a homeopathic proportion of solar, such as maybe 50%. Because of the problems I mentioned, you won't get to 50% photovoltaics. You won't get to 20%.

A380s require liquid fuel, for example. Batteries are no good. Ships also require liquid fuel. Nuclear reactors would work, but they aren't photovoltaic and aren't renewable.
